Brewspiel
Being a member of the Bend Curling Club comes with responsibility. I have been a member of the club since 2021 and love every minute on the ice. The club began in 2016 and hosted 2 bonspiels (curling tournaments) up until COVID in 2020.
My teammate and I wanted to help build the community in Bend and decided to bring back the Bend Bonspiel as the Bend Brewspiel since Bend is known for its active brewery community.
We organized the weekend long event and filled out the roster and had a successful event that is now an annual event at the club.
